Consistent Keogh Triumphs
Adam Keogh fought his way to a dramatic 1 shot victory in the 2009 Keepmoat - Lee Westwood Trophy. Playing conditions were tough due to a particularly strong wind on the final day but this did not prevent the Boston West player from recording rounds of 70 and 69 to close out victory from Jonathan Bell of Royal Blackheath.
The event was greatly oversubscribed and attracted large galleries from around the country. Many England Internationals and players from as far afield as Belgium, South Africa, Sweden and Spain competed to win the prestigious trophy. Rotherham's glorious parkland course was, as ever, in superb condition.
The prize presentation, in front of the majestic gothic clubhouse, was carried out by club captain Peter Moran and Eugien Jaruga, director of sponsors Keepmoat.
As always, many thanks go to all volunteers from Rotherham G.C and other clubs who assisted in making the event such a great success.
