The third hole of the triangle, the 12th hole is yet another birdie chance for the longer hitters. Those lacking length are doubly disadvantaged by the upslope of the fairway which kills any roll and leaves a longish second shot into the well-protected green. A good hole for spectators standing on the driveway, who get a great view of approach shots.

Pro’s tip

On the upslope take at least one club more than you think. Try and leave an uphill putt if at all possible. Take extra care if the pin is towards the front or you may end up off the green.
