Ladies Section

Rotherham Golf Club is housed in a beautiful grade two listed building and its original grounds. A club with real character.

It has an enthusiastic ladies section that welcomes golfers of all abilities from the experienced and developing golfers to those wishing to take up golf for the first time.

We currently have over 50 playing members in the ladies section which provides plenty of competition for silverware and places in various teams to represent the club.

We enter four teams into the Yorkshire Ladies Golf Association interclub competitions. A scratch team a trophy we have won a number of times, together with an A,B and weekend league teams.

Ladies Day is Wednesday and we meet for coffee before playing in the competition of the day with most staying for lunch afterwards. We also hold some competitions at the weekend in orrder to encourage the ladies who are still working to engage with our section. There is also a program of mixed golf throughout the year which is well supported.

Each year we hold two Ladies Open events which can be found under the Opens tab on the home page.

We also have a ladies facebook page for ladies which is open to all so you can join and discover more about our vibrant social activities.

There are a number of incentivies avaliable for ladies wishing to join us and further details of thoses can be obtained by contacting myself or the lady Secretary.

Wishing you a healthy and happy golfing year!
