Hole Fifteen

Par 4, Yards 392, Stroke Index 2

Hole Description

From the tee you will be wondering why this is rated as the second hardest hole on the course but it has been described as an amateur golfer’s nightmare. It’s a right-to-left dog leg coming back over the driveway near the entrance to the club. Visitors will recall it’s the hole they have to look out for when they drive on to the estate in case somebody is about to hit off the tee.

Pro’s Tip

“Most should play this as a par 5. Mid iron from the tee, short iron past the corner bunker, short iron to the green and two putts. Easy! The better players will hit a draw into the corner past the bunker and a short iron on to the flat green for a birdie chance. Sounds easy but it isn’t.”
