Our clubhouse, known as Thrybergh Hall, is the perfect place to hold private functions for a wide variety of special occasions; including but not limited to weddings, funeral wakes, special celebrations and corporate meetings.
Weddings
Romantic Thrybergh Hall and its stunning 19th Century splendid Neo-Gothic former ancestral seat provide the perfect surroundings for your wedding day. As you are driven in your wedding car along the long tree-lined avenue that takes you through beautiful, rolling countryside, it is hard to imagine that you are close to the bustling major cities of Sheffield and Doncaster and the busy towns of Rotherham and Barnsley, all within easy reach of the nation’s motorway network and public transport hubs.
With our newly refurbished rooms and civil ceremonies licence, our incredible clubhouse, regarded as one of the most beautiful mansions in the region, serves as the perfect backdrop for those treasured wedding photographs.

Celebrations
Our Jack Hulley Suite is an ideal banquet or celebration venue, whatever the occasion. The contemporary décor, glittering chandelier and colour customisable ceiling lighting create a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere where you can enjoy a range of cuisines and top quality hospitality.
For larger functions the large interconnecting doors into the adjacent 19th Bar can be opened up creating breakout space. Both rooms offer direct access to the outside patio. Alternatively, the Fullerton Room offers a more intimate space, perfect for buffets or more intimate private dining celebrations.
Funerals
Here for you in times of bereavement, we will ensure a welcoming and caring atmosphere for your family and friends. We can assist in planning and welcoming dignified funeral parties where family and friends can gather to offer condolences and share memories. Our friendly team can arrange catering and any additional personal touches you may require for the day.
Our location is two-and-a-half miles, approximately 8 minutes, by car from Rotherham Crematorium. We offer complimentary parking to all guests.
